We aim to develop Barnsbury Square as:

• a community hub for people of all ages to enjoy, and as

• a welcoming green environment and relaxing space

with the support and help of:

• Islington Council

• Volunteers - both individuals and teams - from among local residents, regular visitors and occasional visitors

We hold events in Barnsbury Square including:

Twice weekly free coffee &/tea sessions

Community Parties – everyone brings food and drink

Monthly gardening sessions – anyone can join in, no experience necessary for these or the annual bulb planting

Open Garden Squares Weekend and The Chelsea Fringe sessions each summer

and we also work with local schools as well as securing grants to improve the square.
